What started as a neighborhood sing along has created one of the area’s hottest groups.  The JAMMIN’ DADDIES is an acoustic rock and roll band that plays the “songs that we all know” with a flair toward everybody having a good time.

The band consists of three men from the north suburban area that all have previous professional music experience.  Judd Sager, former owner of a major local recording studio, Ken Plotkin, now a designer and engineer for point of purchase displays and Mark Putterman, now a real estate executive all spend their free time playing guitar and singing, creating fabulous three-part harmonies.

“We play songs that everyone can sing along with, songs that we love, which allows us to enjoy the performance.  Our enjoyment is contagious,” says Sager.  This leads to a performance that is lively and exciting.  “Since the Jammin’ Daddies are real “daddies”, they especially enjoy playing at venues that allow kids.  Nothing is better than having people of all ages dancing and jamming along with our songs,” states Plotkin.

Jammin’ Daddies performs music by artists such as the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers and Van Morrison, with new music this summer by Steve Miller, Chicago, the Beatles, and more.  They play favorites from a variety of artists resulting in a show with a multitude of entertaining styles.  The band also plays some original songs. They have performed at venues in the city and suburbs and are appearing throughout the area during the summer outdoor concert season as well as at private events year round.
